The LaMaalot Foundation is a nonprofit organization to be incorporated and headquartered in Israel, with offices in the United States.
The LaMaalot Foundation will not be confined to a limited time frame and assumes the option to adjust distributions, thereby preserving its capital and ensuring its financial sustainability.
The LaMaalot Foundation does not discriminate against applicants’ ethnicity, national origin, or personal levels of Jewish observance, and boasts zero tolerance of any such discrimination.
LaMaalot’s goals are to assist people with disabilities, war veterans, single mothers, and people with limited financial resources by supporting their relocation to the State of Israel and their acquisition of both subsidized housing and ultimately, their own housing.
Toward these goals, LaMaalot and partners are seeking land grants upon which to build housing for said demographics, with the official participation and assistance of the State of Israel.
Investment Proposition
A strategic partnership with NBN will lend LaMaalot NBN’s invaluable access to the Israeli government and other agencies, allowing us the ability to negotiate for certain zoning rights, land purchases, discounts, tax abatements, and so on, while NBN benefits with access to LaMaalot’s sizable pool of motivated potential Olim.
Aliyah Destinations
Israel’s four most popular cities for new Olim are Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Modi’in and Beit Shemesh. But currently—without the help of LaMaalot—real estate prices in all four remain unaffordable for too many Olim. LaMaalot’s mission remains to realize our Olim’s dreams of living in one of these four prime communities.
LaMaalot provides three different options to approved LaMaalot applicants:
Long-Term Rental Programs
LaMaalot Funding Towards Property Of Choice
(certain restrictions may be applied on case-by-case basis)
Discounted Apartment Purchases
Eligibility And Commitments
Eligibility and approval for Olim by LaMaalot is determined on a case-by-case basis. To benefit from LaMaalot’s grants, Olim must also adhere to several commitments. (Specialists in medical and engineering fields are given extra preference.)
Dependent on Olim’s profession and expertise, Olim approved for grants must also volunteer a minimum number of hours with any organization chosen by Nefesh B’Nefesh.
